About Us

Our mission is to create a healthier community by empowering families to reach their breastfeeding goals. Research shows families who receive lactation support and education are more likely to reach their breastfeeding goals. This is why we exist. For over 20 years, we have been an expert resource for breastfeeding support by providing community outreach and education, lactation consultations, support groups, breast pumps, and breastfeeding supplies in Nebraska and surrounding areas.

MilkWorks was founded in 2001 by a group of mothers, who wanted all families to have access to comprehensive, evidence based breastfeeding support. We pride ourselves on knowledgeable, compassionate staff who develop trusting relationships with families.
