The Balanced Beginnings Fund is a monthly giving program where donors can support our community by making lactation care and education available for families in need of financial support to experience the benefits of breastfeeding.
People who will benefit from The Balanced Beginnings Fund:
- Under or uninsured families
- Parents that cannot afford to pay out of pocket for lactation consultations and hospital grade breast pump rentals
- Families whose insurance does not cover a quality breast pump or lactation care
- Mothers who cannot afford basic breastfeeding items like nursing bras, baby wraps, and breast pump replacement parts
Your monthly donations will go to serving mothers and families regardless of insurance coverage or the ability to pay out-of-pocket. Over the last decade, breastfeeding rates in the U.S have increased. However, this achievement is not equitable for all families.
